DRIVING LICENSE SCHOOL FOR BEGINNERS Københavns Køreskole offers English B license classes starting every week. Take your license with Copenhagen Driving School and learn to pass your theory test on first attempt Attend classes whether you live in Hellerup, Skodsborg, Virum, Lyngby, Fyn or Jutland. In order to obtain a driving license in Denmark, you have to have a legal residence in the country and can at the earliest start three months before your 17th birthday. THEORY When you initiate your license, you will be asked to fill in an Ansøgningsskema and a Lessonplan, which describes the process you min. have to go through in order to obtain a driving license. The school will also explain the compulsory attendance in theory, maneouvre track, driving on the road, theory test, slippery track, and the final practical driving test. MANEOUVRE TRACK At the maneouvre track the student has to complete a program of 4 lessons. The instructor at the track will tend to max. 3 students at one time. The exercises at the maneouvre track are: Preparation to drive Setting off and stopping by the side of the road Driving in a figure of eight Forwards and backwards with measured braking Reversing and turning Forward and reverse slalom Parking on the side of the road Parking in parking bays Turning using 3 points Parking on the side of the road using parallel parking Driving in 2nd gear, right turn and braking hard without blocking the wheels. DRIVING ON THE ROAD When you have attended the 3rd theory class, it is then time to start driving in the traffic for the first time with the assigned driving teacher. THEORY TEST Student can enroll for the theory test after completing all the compulsory theory and driving lessons. The theory test consist of 25 pictures and to each picture there will be 2 - 4 multiple questions asked. The test takes approximately 25 minutes and the school offers simulating tests at the school. SLIPPERY TRACK Slippery track consist of 6 practical lessons. When the assigned driving teacher approves the students driving ability, then the student can attend the slippery track. At the slippery track the student is driving the car alone with speed between 30-50 km/hr. DRVING TEST The driving teacher will book the practical test, when the student is ready. The teacher will prepare the student well and the driving test is done in the same car used for the practical lessons on the road.
